Northeast Action seeks opportunities to conduct trainings in the context of ongoing campaigns. While Northeast Action focuses its training resources primarily on its affiliates and their allies, we also attempt to meet the burgeoning training needs of the region as a whole. We also keep graduates plugged into the Northeast Action network through invitations to conferences, follow-up trainings, notification of job openings in the region, participation in the Northeast People of Color Network, etc.

Northeast Action runs a shorter annual regional training on organizing, building power, and campaign strategy. The first 2-day training was conducted in July 2001 with 25 participants from four New England states and New York. In July of 2003, Northeast Action extended the organizer training to three days. Now, in 2005, the training has once again been extended to 4 full days.
